I'm looking for a new tuner. Thus far, I have been going to church automotive testing, and I don't feel satisfied with the results for some reason. I just got the impression that they were just tuning another car, and they didn't really take the time to make sure it was done right.
I'm not interested in any back yard/street tuners. I'm boosting a B16, and I'm looking to turn up the boost next time and put down around 350 to the wheels.
Any and all feedback/responses welcome.

I know. Shawn didn't personally tune my car, it was one of his employees, and he did a good job, but I was just wondering if there were any others out there. I saw like 5 or 6 cars coming through there while I was there. Maybe I did get the best tune possible, and they are so good that they don't look like they are trying when in reality, they are experts who don't have to try to do a good job...
Like gymnasts who make that stuff look so easy... I don't know...

Try Bubba, I know Bubba was able to find a hicup in the Hondata software that Hondata wasn't even able to cure. I know my buddy is going to Bubba but I also know of a few that went with Shawn and were really impressed or happy with their tune.
The other option would be Sakata, but be ready to pay!

Are these the guys?
I know it might be expensive at first, but I'm wondering who could make more power. I have a few extra bucks laying around, so I might just do this. I will make it a sort of "tune-off."
I'll take a day off school, and schedule consecutive appointments with all 3 of them. Whoever makes the most power gets the rest of my business. I will try to schedule them as close as possible so that weather changes will not affect each tuner's results.
Does anyone have any input/suggestions on how to make this competition more fair? They won't know that I'm doing it, but I think it would be good info. to post up in this forum.
I'm thinking have a maximum boost limit for them. Or what if I give them a HP goal, and see who can make that power on the lowest boost setting? Hmmmmm.......
This is not bench racing/tuning or anything like that. This is a deliberate research project aimed at finding the best tuner in southern california.
I'm going to start a new thread about this and see what everyone else thinks...
