Default Please help!!will a tune fix this???

IM DEFFINITELY GETTING A TUNE JUST WAITING FOR MY GUY TO SAY TODAYS THE DAY.
I HAVE CHECKED TPS/IACV/FITV/ VACUUM, THERMOSTAT, BLED COOLANT. SWAPPED INJECTORS BACK TO STOCK 240'S, AND A COUPLE OTHER THINGS LISTED BELOW.

okay heres the build:
head b16a stock
injectors 315 TOYOTA SUPRA
ecu chipped p28
block JDM gsr CRANK, AND RODS,(totally gone threw with ctr pistons(totally gone threw, and put together at mechine shop)
10lbs flywheel
car 1991 da integra

car was idling terribly low, and hunting 300-500. drove it home from friends house where we put it together about an hour away. started messing with it the next day, and gave it a compression test.
i was loosing compression in cylinder 2, and blowing white smoke.
pulled the head, had it milled, front left dowl pin bent head gasket a lil bit other than that head gasket was fine. replaced head gasket,
set timing with cylinder #1 at tdc.i have set the timing 5x's to make sure its right. put it all back together still running funny.(but better) funny= start up 1200-1500 5-10 seconds later idle drops to around 750-850(hunting). everything seems normal except the hunting idle. but when the car gets warm(fans do not come on) idle seems to get ruffer and ruffer. give it throttle to 4k+ and when it falls she wants to cut off idle drops to 200-300. if i drive it (which im not) when i come off the throttle to shift car dies. thanks dustin

A tune will not fix mechanical issues such as low compression in one cylinder.

i have fixed the compression issue by putting a new head gasket on. i no longer blow white smoke. what im asking is it possible that when i give throttle then let go it's wanting to cut out because it is so out of tune?

do another compression test. If you are still losing compression, you probably have a warped block.

Just a hunch, but check your ECT sensor, thermostat, and cooling fan relay while your at it...

Come back and let us know what you find.

To answer your question, MTBER is correct. That has nothing to do with tuning. In fact, you must fix this problem before you get tuned.

Question: what kind of "chip" is in your ECU?
