identify prop valves
i believe the DX prop valve is a 4030 (or 3040) cant remember which order Its been a while since i swapped mine out. I know the Si and Da integra use the 4040 with the rear disc.
I'm not sure about '96 - '00 prop valves as they are completely difference externally than '92 - '95 Civic/'94 - '01 Integra versions , but earlier prop valves have a numbers like 3030, 3040 and 4040 stamped on the body of the valve. The '99 - '00 Si uses the same prop valve as the '96 - '00 CX/DX hatchbacks btw.

You'll have to look at one and see. Just check the one thats in your civic now, I know on the 5th gens and integras you can see it without removing it, it is difficult to see though.
im trying to buy one online and the kid doesnt know if its a 4040 or not. i dont see any specific markings on mine, or the pics (which are high res) to see
no when you put the two together there is no knowing which one is which it sucks i know i almost mot mine mixed up before when i was swapping it out but mine have a little black overspray on it thank god..

All '96 - '00 Civic hatchbacks, and HX and Si coupes share the same prop valve, same part number
