Default vapor canister

wondering if it is safe to take off the vapor canister. i live in a non emissions state now. would it screw with the idle any if tooken off?

if taken off.. would i have to worry bout any codes being thrown??

when i bought my crx it didnt have any emissions control items on it. i have a chipped p28 ecu. and it does not throw any codes...

No, removing the purge control canister will not throw a code or affect idle or performance in any way. All it does is store fuel vapors that are released overnight, and burns them when you start your car - as opposed to just releasing them into the atmosphere.
