Default Wheel Stud Help!

Hey everyone, ive run into some trouble and hope someone can bail me out. I just got some nice new wheels for my civic, but i am having one hell of a time getting them on! First one of the studs on my front passenger wheel wont tighten. The threads are not stripped but the stud just spins in the whole like the backside is stripped. Second one of the rear driver side studs broke. How difficult is it to go about fixing this? The local dealership quoted me 2 hours labor plus pats to fix the front one. I did a search and found that the "rear is easy, front has to be pressed" but can anyone elaborate?? Thanks!

yeah, the front hub shaft presses into the hub bearing... i don't know if you can get just the shaft without the rest of the hub, but that's what you need. the shaft flange is where the stud is attached. hopefully if you find a new hub w/shaft it'll have the studs in it already.

i would maybe try to find the part on your own, and take it to a compentent mechanic to install for you. installing without a press can and will severely shorten the life of the bearing!

Hey, please no hammer in anyway, you have a sensor and bearing that can damage, you need free the hub flange from the knucle and use adock tools for( puller or pressor machine on any trully shop)
