was wondering if the carpet from a 92-95 HOnda civic EX,DX coupe would fit into a 92-95 honda civic DX,CX,VX,Si Hatch?

I have been looking for one for the longest time with no success!

 

I have been looking into new carpet for my hatch. Most places including Honda have a different part number for coupe and hatch. I would get your model specific to insure proper fitment.

 

im sure it's got diffeent part numbers, but has anyone actually done it? i mean if only minor modification is needed then i dont really care, i do it up!

 

your best bet is to find it for a hatch because a coupe has different specifications

 

i done this a few years ago for my hatch found coupe in a junkyard and got the carpet for 20 bucks and the only things that were different that i remember was cutting 2 new hole for the rear seats to mount in is a couple inchs longer but everything else is the same. center console area seat mounts area all perfect fit.

 

carpet from a coupe is just a tad longer at the base of the floor in the rear seats. I have hatch carpet in my coupe and it is by no means a pefect fit. it was on so tight that the carpet was raised from the floor and with all my friends just sitting in the backseat it ripped the carpet from the notches and now you can see the teal of my car haha.

Long story short, coupe to hatch you should be A ok

 

yeah, I've tried this and it doesn't quite for that great, but if you cut it a bit, it should work if you dont care about perfect fit and cosmetics

 

as long as it's not like whoa no no no! then it's cool! cause it's just to hard for me to find a hatch carpet, already found couple of coupe carpets but just needed some opinions. thanks!
