Default new distributor, now runs rough and LEAN

obd0 b16

I had an occasional code 9 (cylinder position sensor) and the accompanying lack of power, stuttering, ect. So I ordered a new aftermarket distributor.

I came today. I installed it, and now the car runs rough as hell, and my wideband reads fully lean. Any ideas? I took the distributor key off the new dizzy and replaced it with the old key just in case maybe they had it wrong from the factory but that didn't help. firing order is correct, and when cyl 1 is at TDC, rotor is pointing to wire 1 in the dizzy cap.

Any ideas or help is appreciated. Thanks!

open it up and check for corrosion or any other obvious defects.

Did you set the timing or just replace the distributor and eyeball it?
