I'm looking to install a shift light in my car but dont want to buy a 5in tach or an additional one either. I was wondering if someone made on to fit in a gauge pod/gauge pillar/cluster bezel. Hopefully i explained what I'm looking for good enough.

 

I have seen chipped ecu's that have the SES light come on at a set shift point, very trick setup

another option... pick up a RPM activated switch and radioshack LED, it can be mounted where ever and how ever you want. Mounted mine in the cluster.
