RPM shift light
Well for a Civic DX I rather put an EX gauge cluster for the RPM gauge with just an Autometer shift light, but how do you set the shift light to a certain RPM?
I want the shift light because it's cheaper than the big 5" tach and it looks better(in my opinion).

Re: RPM shift light (lazy bum shaughn)
you can buy just the shift light with litle plug ins to choose your RPM. there are all kinds though, and thats just one of them. Some are electronic and some are mechanical.

Ok the pills are $5, how much is the shift light?
Where does it wire up to? Because if it reads off my EX gauge cluster it wont be accurate.

theres a shiflight made by a company named pilot that you can either plug into your cig lighter or hot wire to the battery.... it has an adjustable dial on it so you can adjust it from inside to the cockpit to any rpm, im not exactly sure how it reads the rpm, some kind of voodoo majic, but if you run a search you will find that it works real nice.

Re: RPM shift light (euclid)
there are cheaper ones than the autometers
check summit racing and jegs out
I think it would be cool to have it hidden in a heater vent or use the check engine light or other cluster area light w/ an rpm activated switch
