Default question regarding setup

Here's the setup as of now:

1999 Civic EX
95' (OBD1) Swapped B16A3
99' (OBD2B) Civic Si P2T ECU
95' (OBD1) B16A3 Injectors

Symptoms: When I get around below half a tank, the CEL comes on for running too rich. Sometimes it comes on after just filling up or with a substantial amount of gas (so it's kind of random if you will). When I ran the OBD1 P30 ECU (the one for the motor), the car NEVER had a CEL. However, I really need the motor running prime in OBD2 form.

Here's the question, I know the running rich is most likely due to the injectors. In that case, maybe the P2T Si ECU and the OBD1 B16A3 Injectors aren't in sync all the time (hence the randomness of the CEL & why I NEVER get a CEL with the OBD1 P30).

So, would putting in OBD2 Si injectors / keeping the P2T ECU fix the issue or would I still have a problem since the motor is the OBD1 B16A3?

i would match the ecu to the injectors... that is more then likely the problem. have you ever had it tuned?

I haven't had it tuned, but it's completely stock even down to the airbox & headers (minus exhaust). I was kind of thinking about a set of si injectors, but don't you think if the motor isn't meant to handle those injectors it still might throw a code?

it's not a 'synchronization' problem between the ecu and injectors. that's just impossible.
however, if the injectors are the wrong impedance (peak&hold vs. saturated / resistor box vs. sans resistor box) then you WILL have a problem.

do you have the evap stuff hooked up to the swapped motor. You may have a stuck solenoid.

Right, the OBD1 Del Sol injectors are saturated and supposively 240cc from the sources I've found, so they should work fine with the OBD2 Si ECU, but obviously not. So, the question is - is it better to match the ECU to the injectors or to the motor? (in terms of fuel only).

again. do you have the evap stuff hooked up?
IIRC, the injectors only matter when you go OBD0 to OBD1/2. (1/2 is the same i think and OBD 0 are low impedance. If you're sure you have the correct resistance injectors, or resistor box where necessary, then that is not the problem.)

Rich condition is either plugged return, bad FPR, aftermarket pump?, bad o2 or Evap fault.

Everything else is legitimate, I know it's an ECU / fuel problem because when I switched to the OBD1 P30 I did NOT get a check engine light. But, in cali I'm trying to make use of the 99-00 si ecu to stay OBD2. Thus, my question:

Is it better to match the ecu to the injectors or the ecu to the motor? (in terms of fuel)
