Brake light always on??????
My car alarm went off right now and I don’t see anyone around it to I went outside to go check it out. What I found out was my brake light was on???? I was like WTF and tried to crank it up but the batter was dead. I have the back up batter for my car so the alarm still works but the actual battery is getting drain from the brake lamp being always on. I’ve been driving my CRX all day and this happen all of suddenly. Its already dark and I cant check it out til tomorrow and I have MID term tomorrow morning. Thank God I only live like a 2 mile away from school but this sucks….. Any suggestion?
there should be a small crumbled piece of plastic on your floor. you need to replace that plug which is located on a tab on the brake pedal ,its next to the brake light switch . or look in the FAQS page for pictures.
you can rig it up to work with a penny and some glue, until you get a new plug from the dealer.

Serious, and then the best part was that I forgot it was there until two years later when it fell back off. Spent some time figuring out where the penny came from until I noticed my lights were back, finally replaced the stopper. Hardest dollar I've ever parted with

Where the plastic piece fell out is an open hole,
Push the pedal in and stick the bolt in the hole..
1/4" to 1/2" long bolt should work
