My oil light was blinking today. My oil sending unit was not plugged in but yet it was blinking. Once i plugged it in it stopped blinking and now i see the oil lamp when i start my car. Anybody know what I did? I dont want to hide the problem if there is one.

Dude no need to bump. Your oil light is supposed to come on when first start the car

 

did u not read? It was unplugged but blinking.

 

hmm heres an idea maybe it was blinking cause ur sending unit was unpluged and again ur oil light is suppoes to com on when you start ur car.
