anyone on here going to the Dragon april 23-26?
just wondering if anyone on here was going to the dragon in April when S2KI is going. I'm going with a few guys from another forum but we're going the same weekend. should be about 150 or so hondas there, mostly S2000's.
it's the weekend of April 25th and 26th. the group I'm going with is riding the dragon sunday the 26th, I think most of s2ki is driving the dragon saturday the 25th. if you're anywhere close to the dragon its definitely worth it. the first year I went I didn't know what to expect, it was awesome! now this will be my 3rd trip in 3 years
it's like a roller coaster that you drive
probably the closest thing to the nurbergring in the US.
anyway, just passing the word, like I said it's definitely worth it. great roads and if you're a city slicker like me it's a nice change of scenery

gay, that seems to happen one a year, going through at the speed limit is still fun though, some turns are so tight even if you go the speed limit you'll crash
that's why the group I with hits the blue ridge on the way out there. then we still have fun in case of weather or cops.

I've always wanted to go up to the dragon...I only live like 45 minutes away...maybe I should
BTW...I've never really heard of cops being a problem up there, I've talked to a lot of bikers that go up there too

the first year we went we found out that the following week the cops were all over the dragon. they can't do too much, about every half mile or so there's tiny spots to pull off and they'll sit there to slow people down. it's really too tight for them to try and chase people and write tickets. last year I didn't see any cops around the dragon and only saw a couple cops my whole trip, kinda weird.
