The PGM -FI Main Relay is two relays in one, one supplies power to the fuel pump, controlled by the ECU, [supplies a ground to relay coil] the other relay is the injector relay, it supplies power to the injectors, ECU and a few engine sensors, it is controled by the ign. switch, [supplies 12V+ to relays coil] so, no you can not get rid of the main relay, unless you do a lot of rewiring. 94

do you know a link? i am re wiring everything i can. less wires in back neater look. this car is 100% stripped. Is there way can leave the main relay for the injectors and just have the fuel pump on a toggle switch to manual turn on?

You would eliminate one lead, [ECU control lead] only to replace it with another, a fused 12V+ to a toggle switch, [and the switch].

I don't see the point, as it does not eliminate any wiring. 94

this sounds like what im doing. i got rid of all factory wiring, and took apart the engine harness and used only what i needed.

i also picked up a painless type kit for the rest of the car so no more main relay for me, just switches.
