ive been tryna figure out what can be the problem! but then seem to not be able to check the CEL!

for some reason when i plug in the Wire to chek the CEL it wont BLINK! it'll just stay on and it wont make no move at all!


okay so as of 3/23/09 i just checked my IACV and when i UNPLUGGED THE SENSOR IT WONT IDLE NO MORE! But then when i PLUG it back in it IDLES Up and Down!

does this mean my IACV is bad or no?

are you putting it in the three prong or the two prong clip??

 

i try all of them i think! hopefully i did!

 

which one do i put it in?

 

it should be in the 2 wire plug, the only reason i can think it would stay on is if you start the car with it in there

 

the blinky light should blink when the ignition is in the on position. (without engine running)
if not, borrow an ECU from a friend. Most likely the ECU

 

im not sure! think i started the car with the wire in! ill try again in a bit

with the jumper in, it should blink away whether the car is turned on, or if the key is only in the on position.

 

this is the first car i had with a CEL on! and Damn its a Pain in the a++!!! i cant find out whats wrong with it!

it wont blink if the car is on or not! DANGSSSSSSs

i have no clue what can be the cause of this!

 

found another solution to it now! please help
