i have a 90 crx with the original mpfi intake manifold i want to upgrade throttle bodies i have a ls b18a1 laying around should i have any issues putting this one in?

 

i have used an LS tb on a 5th gen mani before.i had to dremel the mani to match the larger size tb.not sure if it will fit a 4th gen mani.it seems like the bolt pattern is a little different.but i cant remember for sure.

 

so is it just a plug and play method?
just take it off and replace it without doing any other technical work?

 

im pretty sure it will work, but you have to port match the tb and im for max effectiveness

 

well i started messing with it during my lunch and i was able to get three bolts to line up, and already matched the port to it i have to seal one of the ports for i believe the iacv, but nothing major. while im at it im gonna gasket match the intake ports and install some h22 injectors on it as well
