Whenever I try and run past around 6k rpm it feels like its breaking up,spluttering and like vtec is coming in and out.

I have oil,Ive tried changing the coil and the igniter in the dizzy,both with no results.changed spark plugs and wires..no better.

I tried two other dizzies but both threw a cel that wouldnt flash when i tried to check it and wouldnt rev out past 3k rpm.

Engine is a b20/vtec 10:1 pistons,itr head,skunk2 valvesprings & retainers,cam gears,I/H/E.running on a chipped ecu.


Ideas anyone??

Maybe...you ****ed up the engine?

 

did you replace your plugs?

I know it sounds weird, but they can look normal but still be spent..

 

yes, he stated that he changed his plugs. sorry i dont have any answers, maybe your vtec sol is bad, something maybe oil press related.
