Well everyday it seems more and more honest guys and are getting scammed on here. I think if there is a new member with a low post count and nobody to vouch for them they should have to make a ebay listing. Why you say a bay listing??? Well Paypal has there own scam perfected...... so if I buy something on any other forum in the world and I get scammed paypal allows me to file a claim. After I file a claim the scammer has 10 days to respond to my claim, well after 10 days paypal gives there selves another 20 days to figure out what they think is fair. If they rule in my favor and the bum/scammer has no money in his account all they do is freeze his account and wait for him to just give the money back. Well I dont see that happening in most cases. So the bum has 30 days to get my money from his paypal account to his personal bank account there for meaning my money is gone.....but it I buy something on ebay and the seller never send the item or its not as described broke or what ever and paypal rules in my favor paypal will in fact refund me my money and then go after the bum/scammer. this is about the only safe way I can think f to help us honest guys out. let me know how u guys feel about this..

 

i've sold 60+ things on ebay with very little complaints,the only time they almost f***ed me over was this:Guy bought a dizzy off me for $50 he needed it asap but didn't say that til 3 days after the auction ended.i told him shipping takes 7-10 business days.he then trys to say i didn't ship the item etc and tells ebay/paypal i f**ked him over.They revoke his paypament to me,do and investigation and find out he was sent a tracking number and the item, he was just too cheap to buy new but couldn't wait for mine.A week later they reimbursted me.Matt

 

bump to see what people think or atleast give them a idea how to protect there money. And I would also like to point out that I dont necessarily mean out the part or hat ever on ebay first but when a buyer is ready to pay, go to ebay make a ad on there doesnt have to have pics but that would be nice make the title of it the buyers screen name and add just a brief description and bang the buyer is protected by paypal....

sometimes now paypal holds the cash until the buyer recieves the item. For me I like this idea and wish it came out sooner!

 

well Im not rich so I cant afford to many kicks to the nuts or my wallet so I thought this would help alot of us out...

 

paypal screwed me ... i bought some mounts thru ebay and the buyer never sent them .. i filed a claim within 30 days and they said they couldnt do anything about it but they have a length of 60 days ... sometimes you just cant get justice no matter what system you use ... other then that paypal is legit i used it many times only got me once

 

paypal can be a double edged sword so I think it all comes down to luck. why do i said that cause i have experinced were paypal help me from getting my money back from a scam. and then there was another incident where i sold an item and the person got my item but lied to paypal that he never got it so paypal reinbursed him..he lives, he lives two doors down from me. didn't want to give me the cash but instead required me to pay him thorough paypal.. I should have gone and burn his house down. I hate paypal and like paypal at the same time.

well i have a new paypal story. today I sold some parts to a guy that lives in turkey. right now he i in cali building a engine to take back with him. well he has finished hisengine and has a crate for it to be shipped to turkey in and wned me to ship the parts to cali so he can just put the parts in the crate and ship it all at one time. well paypal put a hold on the payment until they figure out why a guy that lives in turkey wants parts sent to cali. how gay.... the topper of the cake is the guy is leaving in a few days but I cant ship the parts until the smoke clears

 

how do u do that?

 

so does that mean we have to fork out the shipping costs from our own pocket?
