91 dx lca's
i was wondering if 91 dx rear lcas (the type where the strut goes inside) are the same as ITR rear lcas? i heard hf crx were the same as itr but im not sure.. anyone know? basically im looking for a upgraded rear sway bar that i can use with my 91 dx lcas on a 91 si hatch..
ST rear sway and personally best for most all drivers doesn't use the LCA.
Read up and see if the ST will work for you.
If it won't then dx rear lcas wont' work for you.

well the only idea i really have is that i have a stock sway bar, and it bolts up to both the dx lcas and to the si lcas, so basically i should be able to use st sway bar or an itr bar or pretty much any aftermarket bar for that matter?? i guess??

This pic shows the difference between 88 rear LCAs (#18) and 89-91 LCAs (#17). The sway bar mounting point is the same on both but the difference is how the shocks attach to the control arm.
Here is 88 LCAs

Here is the 89-91 LCAs

okay ur wrong.. i have 91 dx hatch lca's..( the strut goes in) on my 91 si (which was where the strut goes over) i put dx lca's on because i have koni struts that go in.. SO my question was are my 91 dx hatch lca's the same as ITR lca's (which are apparently the same as 88 hf's)

it was probably put there by the previous owner.
correction!
18 = 88
17 = 89-91
my uncle is the only owner of a completely stock 88 crx hf and his lower control arms are similar to type rs. i own a 89 crx si and mines was the regular lca.
the 88-91 civics came with ONLY the regular lcas. like i said probably installed by someone else.
and 91 civic/crx si are rear disc.

and once again ur wrong because u cant get a usdm hatch with rear discs stock.. my 91 si has rear drum..
somethings wrong with your car then. every other 91 civic/crx si ive seen has rear disks.
thats really weird how youre saying that you have a 91 dx that has 88 hf lcas and at the same time a 91 si with drum brakes?
oh geez...

dude ive had 3 ef hatches over the years.. first car was a 90 dx, dont know what kinda lcas it had.. my second hatch was a 91 dx that had "88 hf lcas" with koni struts... and i took them off and put them on my 91 si hatch that i have now.. which has rear drum.. i know crx's have rear disc but im pretty sure they didnt make ef hatchs with rear disc from the factory.. everyone just upgrades to rear disc.. im also almost positive that someone wouldnt downgrade to rear drum from rear disc!?
si's with a sway mount??? my 88 hf stamped lcas bolt up to my si sway bar.. all of the bolt holes on the stamped and forged ones are exactly the same..
