This is my 5th hatch now. Most the other ones have been stripped for drag racing or auto cross. this is going to be a full interior full body everything maybe a b swap some day and its going mpfi soon got a si trans for it. So to start I picked it up for $600 in the middle of the night not thinking of what to look at I was just happy to get running driving ef for less then a grand. I drove it 80 miles home at 1am no problems at all so it made the bill.

I knew it had some body damage when the guy told me about it. It had a messed up dash I found out the next day all cut and cracked. Needed front fenders and bumper, corner lights, rear tail light's ect.... Interior needed new dash, carpet, seat, stereo and some freshing up.

So to date I got a driver fender, new dash, cargo cover, rear trunk carpet, si trans, antenna, dc2 center consol(waiting on it to ship from my mom's house), lots of cleaning, new blubs for the whole car($60 worth or so).

Enough with my talking here is some pictures in random order. Getting more parts this weekend I hope and will update then.

Yeah it will be quite a bit of work. Should be almost done by next weekend so I can start driving it i've only put 83 miles on it since i owned it for about 3 weeks just started stripping it the other day for rebuild. tonight removed all the ac lines and pump no pictures sorry. Took apart the rear interior to pop out a dent in the 1/4 pannels and clean up and run more stereo wiring. I'll get some pictures up tommrrow of the gutteded rear.

everyone who has EFs in my town are either old people or a college kid who couldnt find a better car...so it excites me when i see an EF rollin down cuz im thinkin "hey another Honda inthusiast" come to find out they just drive it cuz it gets good gas mileage...

 

Well me and the old lady were thinkin about selling it till we bought parts. Yay another oregon ef fan. I dunno seems after i spend about $200 on parts I get all sorts of calls. I might trade it for a 91' crx but the back seats of hatch's are nice and I don't have the $500 to shell out for a rex back seat.

And yes it will be all clean. Maybe a lip or sir bumper but thats it. I'm not a fan of jdmness its way over played around here and body kits are so 2000 lol jk just not my thing. I like a clean stock looking car lowered on hx wheels or ls webs. off to work on the car

 

Worked on it a lil today got the pass door and part of pass rear 1/4 sanded needs some dents removed/fixed on door. The driver's rear 1/4 has a pretty big dent I need to pop out tommrrow. Pretty much got home from work and felt sick as heck so just went out and sanded and got the trans out of storage today. here is some pictures. Oh the picture of the lines that are raised up some one put glitter glue stuff on the car and its a pia to sand off so most of time is going twards that. The pass door was covered in that garbage.

Hah or bring back the late 90's like 97-99 rocking a single wiper and a big H cut out in our hoods lol j/k. But really I'm more of a fan of stock or just like a lip and thats it. I don't know anything now a days you can't do for the first time everyone else has done it or tried and failed.

Yes you guessed it Florence. But my hatch came from springfield was owned by a older guy who justed used it for good gasmilage. On lunch break just checkin h-t wishing I was home working on the car. Tomrrow is pay day but I have bills and such I'll have a lil left for the car. This weekend will mostly be body work errr.. sorry for the boring ness. Thanks for all the comments. Painted steelies eh? Mine are 13"s probably not maybe some 15's with ex hubcaps.

Well hit me up and you can see the progress in person. I wish I still had my bike but I sold it a few years ago and now I live right next to the dunes. I'm always tossin around the idea to get another one. Got any ef parts you wanna sell me when your down?

 

lol ya we have a couple banshees and some blasters nothing to fancy.... my buddys grandma lives by some hotel next to the ocean and there is a nice spot to ride hidden back in there that we go to. what type of parts are you looking for? i have an 88 just sittin in my yard?? i could drop them by next time i roll down, kinda hard to get parts down there??

 

I hate it when people think that doing a flat black or a primer job is an excuse to not paint. It's good to see another hatch being rescued. Looks good, and great price. Good start, too.

 

Flat black and primer is way over played. Now if I can find another ef hatch for the girl then I can paint this one any color. If we just have this one it's going to be black red or green. If I get another hatch this one is going olive green like the army color I did it on my gsr and it looked so good with gold ls webs. Thanks for the comments

Well today(saturday) sucked. I drove 100 miles to a junk yard that assured me they had 5-7 hatch's with good front ends. I get there and they only had 1 with a jacked up front end good head lights and it was stripped. I told them that their guy told me they had a bunch and I drove 100 miles for no gd reason. They offered to sell me the head lights for $75 I simply told them to get lost. Any one in the eugene area I would sugest not going to GOSHEN they are total tweakers. I ordered some interior parts today off ebay and I'm going to salem next weekend to look at a hatch for parts. I got nothing done today but cleaning up my garage. Sorry I'm slacking. More work soon I promise. I'm hitting body work monday I have the day off.
