crx b18 swap
my 89 crx has a 92 b18 swap into it, i have awkward question but any advice would be nice. i have so many plugs and wires that are not hooked up and so many sensors and things like that not hooked up but the wire's do not match up. is it possible that the person that did this motor swap used the stock crx ecu, fuse boxes, and wiring harness, and plugged it into the Ls motor?
honda engine swaps by aaron bonk goes over b 18 swaps in civis 84-87 and crxs 84-87 and integra 86 89 on page 27 the book says you can do a couple of different things and since i do not know anything aside from you have unconnected wires i'm not sure what exact information tell you the wiring information is on page 28 and it goes over v-tec non v-tec, changing obd, where to wire some of the extra wires, and changing the ecu hope this helps if you have more specific information maybe i can find something more specific in the book i have
well i was more or less just curious if it is possible to run that ls motor on the crx ecu, and wiring harness, cuz im trying to find out what ecu i have in that car. but as far as the problems im having with the car, i have an erratic idle, and my ecu is throwing codes for the coolant temp sensor, and the eacv. the coolant temp sensor is not plugged cuz the wires do not match up. so im trying to find out if i need to look at a crx wiring diagram to see if i can hook it up that way, cuz i have an integra manual and it is different.
