my friend wants to get a set of red recaros for his 92 hatch and the only prob is that hes a little big and wants to know if there comfy he weighs 200lbs and hes 5'6 and wants to know if they will be ok for him

so any opinons

they are snug, i just got them in a trade from a friend, the lower back support is different from any other seat ive sat in, and the first night i drove in it, it killed my back, but after that, they felt great very plush and hold you in place well. The only complaint i have is they sit high, but other than that, couldnt ask for more

Well there's not a USDM Recaro seat, they are ALL German seats...Even the ones that come in the Type Rs from Japan. On topic though, I have them and they are EXTREMELY comfortable, I like them more than the Sparco Torinos. They really hug you on both your back and legs. Great seats

 

Those of you that have the red recaro srd's, have you noticed and fading since you got your seats. A while back i remember someone commenting to me about the red SRD's fade more quickly than the SRIII's.

I am personally a fan of the black SRD's. Hopefully Ill get them one day

 

no they're not comfy you have to get the black ones they're lighter and more comfortable

as you can tell i'm not a fan of red seats....well maybe soem red Bride Brix

 

whatever man, the red recaros are always going to be more comfortable than the black ones

 

theyll be coo. two of my homies got them in there integs

 

they have a good snug fit...i like mine but im worried about fading (i have the black ones)

 

do you have tint on your windows?

 

I smashed my ***** getting into my friends car (while moving it for him) the sides sit higher then I thought, other than that they are nice.

Hey man, im a big guy also, actually im a bigger guy, im 5-11 and 280, and honestly, they will feel a little snug at first, but yer *** will get used to them, as for they are truly a comfortable seat. i would definately purchase them if i had the money, so dont worry about the size, u should be ok

Sorry -The seats look very comfy, and they're made by a very reputable company, so I would imagine that they ARE comfy. But I know for a fact that I'll never have the $ to buy them!

i wouldnt spend money on seats unless i was gonna be doing cornering..they make it so you dont have to brace yourself against your door and hurt your leg on the window handle.. other than that, if you got the cash to spend on some recaros for the hell of it.. more power to you.. good choice..

 

Anything has to feel better than stock civic seats. My back killed me before with them. My del sols feel better than the stock ones. The Recaros make you feel like you're up high, but they are comfortable.
