if i have a d15b8 and i want to swap it with a d16z6 can i still you the d15b8 transmission for for the swap?

im not exactly sure of the tranny codes

but its possible you could fall out of vtec after shifts

similar to the LS tranny on like a B16

to where the z6 tranny is geared differen't and after each shift you'll stay in vtec

 

Yes it will work but i highly suggest a si tranny
