Default Innovative Motor Mounts

Has anyone ever installed these in their preludes and have had so much vibration that bolts and nuts eventually start coming off? An what company makes shifter bushings?

i have them installed on my 94 prelude with an h22a. im using 85a polyurethane. theres of course going to be vibration through out the car but youll get used to it, plus once you break in the mounts they'll vibrate less. I havent noticed or seen and loose bolts because of this. but it really keeps the motor in place. you can rev it, try to push it, kick it, hammer it, blow it up and the motor will stay in there solid..LIIIIIIKE A GLOOOOOOOOOOOVE-UH!. i think energy suspension makes shifter bushings..

I have them in my Prelude with the 'black' inserts and I have not found any loose bolts at all...

is there any real difference with the 95a motor mounts as opposed to the 85a motor mounts? In terms of feel, response, traction, etc?

85a is pretty stiff. so 95a would almost be like a solid mount. not sure about traction or response. stiffer motor mounts are used to replace(obviously) worn mounts, and elminate wheel hop. i had wheel hop badly up until i changed the mounts and after that it all went away

i had one nut rattle loose a few times, but it was something little, i can't even remember.

and i think a "broken in" mount means that it is broken. these don't break in, polyurethane doesn't break in.

and i'm in the process of making bushings, just got **** goin on right now

how stiff do you have your motor mounts?

i'm using 85a Innovative. They're very stiff at first, for awhile. They will slowly have less vibration but you'll just have to get used to it.

nothing has rattled apart, until recently i took the Balance Shaft belt off and now I have A LOT of vibration with these mounts.

Overall It's the best thing we can get for the prelude.

i had 65a but i'm making a set of 85a right now. but the nut was on something silly that doesn't really get tightened down. i wouldn't let it scare you off.

I've had them for two years. No problems and like said before you'll get used to the vibration. Hell you can always check your mount bolts while your oil is draining for peace of mind.

i had the black, but couldnt take the vibration so i downgraded to the red. my car was making 204whp and it handled it fine. i dont think u need any more than the red unless if ur making a lot of power with FI. the downgrade is free, except you have to pay for shipping to innovative. i think they cover everything else, but u may have to pay for shipping back to you too. some bolts on my car have definitely been vibrating out, but it may have been because of me. who knows.

IDK man, mine definitly "broke in". At first the vibration was unbearable. Now its just a little vibration at idle.

i drove an 85a car this weekend, matter of fact. i thought it would be much worse. my car is no AC no PS and no balance shafts, 65a. this car was an SH with only a lighter flywheel. it idled better then mine, and driving i couldn't tell at all. vibration is only bad in low RPMs, so if it really bothers you bump up the idle a hair and it will be all but gone.

these really are nice mounts though, second set i've seen and they're REALLY top notch. the only thing is one hole had to be elongated (front side hole on the rear mount) but otherwise, it was perfect
