I took off the valve all the way off and still no coolant.Does any1 have any idea what the problem is?

Are you following the procedure in the manual for topping off your cooling system? See autozone.com for a manual specific to your Civic. Is your (engine oil) dipstick showing an increase in level? As in showing that the coolant is leaking into the engine systems?
What prompted the thermostat change? Has the car overheated recently?

What year and sub-model of Civic?

i like to give the hoses a good squeeze as i'm filling, you can hear the bubbles moving around and they'll pop up in the radiator fill neck. also, have the bleeder open as you fill. this way you'll see the coolant come out of it when it's pretty much full.

Well its a 94 hb with a obd1 b19c swap. Ive done a coolant and thermostat changed before. Dipstick? i mean coolant reservoir or my oil dipstick? The level on the reservoir is good and my oil dipstick is good with no signs of milkyness. i cant tell if my motor is overheating because i think the temp sensor is bad.

Yes ive tried squeezing my hose but didnt have the bleeder valve open while filling it up. its was open when the motor was running. Does anyone have a diagram of the whole coolant system?

Just start your car, have a funnel on top like this:

Then jack the front up and park it on a hill and let the car run till the fans cycle twice

Fan switch possibly?
I just replaced the thermo. in my car and my fan wasnt working before until I replaced my thermostat which was closed shut. Popped in the new one and the fan came back alive when the thermostat finally opened back up.
