d2 coilover front fork problem
well i bought some d2 coilovers for my crx and i was puttting them on tonight and the lowe section doesnt fit tight with the fork on the fron of the car. heres what im talking about.
the gap

the size difference

and before you say tighten the bolt i have and it makes no differnce. and i know for a fact they fit a crx because i bought them of Private-tune on nwp (not sure if hes pon here)
trying to figure out why the gaps there. anyone with any input is more then welcome to post a solution. thanks.

save yourself some headache and measure the 2 peices. Measure the diameter of the bottom of the shock, and measure the internal diameter of the fork, full tight, without the shock in it. If there is more than about .25mm difference in diameter, then your coilovers are the wrong part for the car, or a really shitty design.
I could restate the obvious that yes, they do look a lot different, but measure them out to be sure, and then go back to whoever you got them from and demand the right part. Math doesn't lie, but some vendors might.
