Worth putting a H22 in an EK?
yes yes and yes. highly unlikely to keep power steering though, you would need to modify the radiator support and hood, i would just remove it, the car feels much better w/o it anyway.
as for a/c there is an a/c bracket now by HCP. and yes it's very much worth it.
how can you deny 14's on completely stock platform for $2400 +/-

Uh, I've never seen a B18c1 hybrid run low 14's. Maybe with I/H/E and slicks with stripped interior. But not STOCK MOTOR, street tires, and full interior?...
Plus, with a few bolt on's, and a pair of slicks, you can expect mid to low 13's easily.

my boy has a b18c1 in his 89 CRX (not stripped)with an intake and drag nittos and he get high to mid 13's all day

my point exactly. where is he doing the low 14's all day long.
if he is doing 14's all day long bone stock, then h22 civic will be in the 13's no problem.

he'd be 12's by far. 'nuff said
but b18c cr-x is very nice.
as for b18c eg doing 14's bone stock, i'd have to see this to believe it.
h22 beats B series in straight drag, they come close, but h22 seems to keep taking it. as for auto-xing, B series owns.
