i don't drive a honda, but i posted on the accord board 'cause it's the only honda that i'm closest to owning right now. my friend has a 99 coupe, mtx with a f23a1 (i'm pretty sure that's it).

I can't say anything about Neons, i regularly get owned by one here locally on the autox course

 

yeah, those neons are underated, for some reason i can take cars that are supposed to be somewhat fast but i can never catch those damn neons...wtf is up with that????

 

power to weigh ratio

car review people are too biased. seems even the american car reviewers are against american economy cars. neons aren't bad at all, especially for the price, but the whole status symbol thing gets in the way for some people. also, a lot of import racers hate any car that resembles american design. sadly enough, i'm not too fond of american designs, but i had a hookup. i got my 2k2 dodge neon r/t with every option except leather for 15k$ after 5-year financing. can't complain
