I bought a JDM B16 head stamped 91 for year. these cams came with it. The vtec lobes are about 1/16" higher than a set of GSR cams I have. I did some searching but cant come up with anything. There is no identification stamping on the cams anywhere. Let me know what you think.

Ya they kinda look like the 94 gsr cam pics, but the groove in the big ring is different. not sure if thats a issue or not. Like I said before these lobes are alot bigger than the 96 spec gsr pic with the 3 rings

 

maybe this cams are a custom regrind?

 

damn there was a post the other day in the all motor forum trying to identify the same cams. i have a set also. the guy said he bought the motor in the united kingdom so they should be oem euro cams. i have also compared them to gsr's and b16's and they are bigger. im thinking they are euro type r's. honda did change some things from euro to jdm,to usdm.
there is no confirmation on it though. i wanna know what these things are so i can sell them

hey mmuller,do you want just the height from the base of the lobe to the tip[with a dial caliper] or set it up in the head with a dial indicator and measure the lift.

edit!!!! i just measured with calipers from base to highest point on the tip. the intake is 1.51in. the exhaust is 1.48in. sorry couldnt get to the .001,with the roundness of the tip
