Pretty popular little "mod" over at 8thcivic.com, but havent seen any mention of it here.

basically just follow these directions:

to replace the boring nav. splash screen with anything of your choosing. keep in mind the image you put together will be stretched vertically about 30% so you should compensate by scaling your image down by 30% before cropping/stretching/copying it into the proper format/dimensions.

of course i had to go the classic anime geek route:



notice how i went through the entire process without ever realizing how horribly i mispelled "initializing"

the navihack site has some pretty cool splash screen ready to download, but if anyone happens to want the gundam one you can get it here:

edit: i may be wrong about needing to mess with the scaling. i think first method might not require it...since im noticing my final product still seems to be a little squashed.

since 06 style old. but i didnt see anything here in search, perhaps cuz search doesnt work all that well. 8thcivic is great and all but f=79 needs some loving too
