Bosch Lapsim version 2009.1 now available
Latest 2009 version of this amazing free simulator is available for download here:

I can't get it to install. When in run the MSDinstall program it will start installing, then it pops up with an error saying lapsim: setup not complete with only a "ok" button. Then it only lets me click on the exit button on the program.
Anyone have any ideas? If it makes a difference I'm on windows 7. I was thinking that might be my problem but idk.

You can always try the free version Optimum Lap from Optimum G. You have to register with them and they send you a key.

Of note, the last version of Lapsim that was available only worked on Windows XP, and did not work on W7 or later.

I know this is an old post but I am having the same problem. Did you figure out how to fix it?

The last free version of Lapsim will not run on Windows 7 or later. It only runs on XP. I got this info directly from the developer, Chris van Rutten. Unfortunately Lapsim is no longer available for free.
