In terms of performance, sound, and quality, which would your choice be?

Ricey APEXi N1 sound... ewww! I'd go with HKS, but the N1 is slighty better performing and it looks better IMO. However, to me sound is more important. (as long as performance is reasonably good)

there are tradeoffs b/w the two, if you get the N1 you will gain more performance and better looks BUT it will be loud as hell w/o the silencer.

if you get the hks hiper, you won't gain as much hp as the straight-through design of the N1 but it will sound deeper.

i personally like the N1 more, it has the obnoxious sound that i like.

 

ive had the HKS and Now i have N1, build quality is similar, the welds on both are perfect. The HKS sounds really good. As does the N1. Get whatever one suits your budget, or what you like. The n1 can is almost twice the size of the HKS can tho. I like that the best.

 

Isn't the piping on the HKS Hiper smaller in diameter than the Apex N1? But I like the fact that the HKS can is smaller than the Apex.

Better check that piping size on the HKS, smaller than stock ITR in some spots!
