This car was definitely well put together and that went along way in making sure that everything went smooth today. It made great power out of such a simple setup

Good job. You guys should see how much more you can get out of it. What boost level did you get the max pwr at?

 

Nice numbers. How many lbs of boost was use when making the 385whp? Pump gas?

Nice build, simple yet it made some power. JK does it again!

 

It was actually on race gas and it was on 24 psi.

We couldn't do much more because the clutch started to slip on the dyno.. so it is still pretty conservative as we also were running out of time.

I am pretty sure he will enjoy the car at this power level if not a clutch and a new cam will definitely help it out a bit.

Thanks guys...John anwsered alot of your questions...The 385whp was on race...We were going for 400whp but like he said the clutch started sliping...The car on pump was tuned 19psi 349whp on pump...Not sure if thats the exact number but some where around there..

The car is a blast to drive...Its plenty for the street...Hes looking into a cam, and maybe some port work...For now its great...

damn. those are some nice numbers on just a basic setup. im currently putting together a turbo setup for my d16 and this looks like a nice setup that i might go for.
