Blue reduces light output and increases glare. Please stay away from blue headlights. You only look like a ricer with them, and people will point and laugh at you.

No, that is dim.

"Hyper white" = blue coating = less light

Something like Osram Night Breaker bulbs would be good. I'm pretty sure they don't have any blue color in them, but they're definitely brighter than stock, without drawing any additional current, so no worries about melting wiring or the headlight switch.

Osram 70/65 would be the best 9003/H4 bulb. Brightest and would last the longest with no ricer blue tint.

9006 and 9005 provides a much much better solution than any other size, since you can stuff HIR bulbs in there.

Forget the Night Breakers, you want 9011 and 9012 HIR bulbs. (Though, I don't see the reason to upgrade the highbeams, but it your car, money, and choice.)

to the OP, there is another thread like two away from this addressing H4 bulbs.

to the dude looking into the 9005/6 fitments...i can vouch for the HIR bulbs. i have them in my fogs and highs on my Mazda and they do put out a ton of light. the light emitted doesn't look cool, but it's alot of light and that is what you want. IMO the best source for these is rallylights.com

bash if you want, but i run hella high performance bulbs (they call them xenon blue) in my wife's Si (9005/6 fitments) and they offer fantastic light, and look cool as well as the light is pure white (not blue at all). the only bummer is when the lights are off, there is a slightly blue reflection in the reflector. i run the DOT wattage units in her car.

vs. HIR, these are a deal as an HIR bulb is about 30 ea, where as the hellas are a little more than that for a pair.
