Does anyone know the diameter of the inlet of the type R intake manifold? I got a Type R intake manifold but need a throttle body, now if you get a bigger diameter throttle body than the diameter of the intake manifold does that increase hp or decrease or doesnt make a difference? Any info would be be appreciated. I dont have the manifold yet so i cant measure it btw. Thanks

I hope your not putting that manifold on a B16, it's a guaranteed loss in power.

Well, it has been dyno'd many times proving losses on B16's all the time. Go with a P30 2nd gen B16 manifold, it makes 2-4hp at the wheels more than the ITR.

Just because something is from a type r, that doesn't make it better

 

you need cams atleast to put on that mani on a b16
