installed new caliper, now soggy pedal!!
installed a new driver side rear caliper today, and bleed the caliper. i made sure there was plenty of brake fluid, ive bleed the caliper about 3 times now, but still gots almost straight to the floor. but if im stopped, and i pump them a few times, it gets stiff. any help guys? dont feel safe at all!!
ight guys thanks, ima try that tomarrow. hope it works. hada stop fast for a deer and about put my gf threw the dash on the way home lol
Yeah, make sure you bleed the system completely at all 4 calipers in the correct order like mentioned above. Also make sure the pads are installed and seated in the caliper correctly, I'm sure you have them in there correctly but just thought I'd throw that out there, I've seen it happen!! LOL
lol ya thanks for reminding me tho, im like 99.9% sure everythings right, i just bleed only the caliper i replaced not the whole system

why did you repalce the caliper?? did you check the other 3 calipers for a seized caliper slide?? if any of the slides are seized you will get a low of spungy brake pedal.
starting with the furthest away from the master cylinder which would be the back right, back left, right front and and finally left front
