Default Starting Problem need help??

Here's the deal I have a 88 crx si d16a6 motor and bought complete clutch kit with lightweight flywheel...I just got everything in today. I went to turn the car, it just click, try it again just click noise...it doesn't even crank over...So I though it might be my battery, test that and came with a amp charge 12.8 which it still good, so my next step was a bad starter, took it to advance and autozone and tested to be good...so right now im guessing something to do with the aftermarket flywheel...which i think, when I start the car the starter doesn't catch on with the flywheel teeth, which doesn't crankover???...I dont freakie know right now, dont feel like dropping the tranny again. Could it be possible?? Any suggestion to this cause would be appreciated Thanks

well that happened to me before, but not on a honda a ford bronco II. When it happened with me though the starter sent out the gear to catch the flywheel but the teeth on the flywheel were worn down and so the starter didn't mesh with the flywheel gears and I would hear the spinning of the starter gears grinding on the teeth of the flywheel.
to me it doesn't sound like that is your problem though we are comparing two different engines/transmissions

but is it not making any noise at all when you try and crank over the engine?
