-need help here-
ok so i have a 90 civic hatch Si with a 96 b18b in it, still obd0 all 90 DA stuff (tranny/infectors/dizzy/etc) it has a 6 puck clutch. now for the problem, i was driving thru town (stop and go drive) and i took off at the stoplight went thru 1st and 2nd then went to shift into 3rd and the tranny was stuck in 2nd i had to rev it up and then put it into 3rd. so then again i stopped at the next light and took off (driving normal) and went to shift from 1st to 2nd and again the tranny was stuck in first no chance gettin it out. so i pulled over in a parking lot, stopped and tried starting the car in first with clutch in and it took off, i had to pull my hardest to get it out of first in order to get the car stopped. now once stopped with the car off, i pushed the clutch in and shifted and it went thru all gears... so i went to start the car in 1st again it took off having to jerk it out of gear to get stopped?
if anyone has anything to help me figure out whats goin on please feel free to post and let me know! it will be greatly appreciated!

i was thinkin that since it has a 6puck that it could be the clutch is malfunctioning? but its something to do with the drivetrain (tranny or clutch)... plz help
If you start it with the clutch in and the car jumps because its in gear then it should be a malfunction with either the cable or (I'm assuming b/c of the year) the master or slave cylinder. If your clutch is hydrolic it could be the master or slave cylinder is not functioning properly so the clutch is not disengaging from the flywheel which is why it will not shift easily and why it jumps forward while it is in gear but with the clutch in. I would look there first.
I adjusted the clutch cable and its doing the same thing still. You mean throwout bearing? Im trying to do this as easy as possible at first.I ordered a new clutch cable and if that doesnt fix it then im gona pull the tranny and inspect the throwout bearing/ clutch/ fork and all that.

your gear selector could be done. its kind of rare but its a possibility. theres this c shaped clamp type thingy in the transmission, when you shift from gear to gear it moves to the gear your selecting and holds it...kind of hard to explain but either way try the above first.
