LCA bolt stuck help!!!
ok well i went to change out my lca's today and the bolt that goes through the swing arm is stuck. i hit it with pb blaster, bg inforce, you name it i soaked it. the bolt is moving but it is starting to move the bushing with it, hence its stuck to the metal collar in the bushing. anyone have any suggestions how to get that bitch out. thanks guys lmk
When I went to change my rear shocks & springs, the bolt heads broke off on both shock lower mounts and in the trailing arm to lca connection on the right side. I had used a 600 ft-lb pneumatic gun. Same problem, bolts had seized to the inner bushing collar.
I had to remove the whole trailing arm and cut the bolt with a sawzall.

I hate that!!! The head snapped off and the bolt was stuck inside of the bushing we had to heat it out with a torch and we used a jigsaw as well.
NEVER AGAIN!! NEVER!
Cut the LCA bolt with an angle grinder or saws-all if the shock is not free. Free the shock.
You will need to remove and replace the bushing from the LCA. Use a torch to burn out the rubber and remove the center. Then use a hack saw to score the bushing race (assemble the saw through the LCA bushing). Once scored and split, use a punch to drive the bushing race out. Replace the bushing with an Energy Suspension polyurethane bushing, which does not need to be pressed in with a special tool.

yeah that's the worst. i helped my friend drop his car thinking it was going to be a quick job, took a couple hours because we just decided to get a new set of lca's with bushings. cut the bolt and broke the welded nut off and used new ones
