Default Timing Belt Swapped, Now It Won't Start, HELP!

Here's the story.

My timing belt wore out. It didn't snap but the teeth wore down and engine just died. I didn't realize this until later. I may have cranked it too much and crashed a piston into a valve.

I got a new timing belt and swapped it out today. I did everything right. I've done it before.

Now it won't start.

It would crank and would try to start but will not start. I felt the headers and it appears that only one cylinder is getting ignition. The header pipe off of #3 cylinder is warm after cranking, which means ignition. The other three header primaries are all cold.

Questions: Is it possible that I bent the valves so badly that the engine won't start? I thought bent valves only causes bad running ... not "can't start"

What else should I test?

Help! Anyone. Thanks.

+2 on the leak down test. Double and triple check ur timing marks and make sure the belts tight. If you come up with bad compression across the board ur timing is proly off. Bad compression on just one or two cyliders ur proly bent a valve.
