Hello, I just bought a new cd player for my car tonight after not having one for a long time. I thought I could just unplug the old one and plug the new one in but the plugs don't match. I understand that the new radio comes with a harness but I have no clue how to connect the wires, Is there an adapter that I could buy that would connect the two different ports?

 

you may just have to cut the stock plug off and spice your wires to match,
or search around for the adapter maybe crutchfeild.com
although im not sure if there is one for you car.

 

there is an adaptor.. get it at any local stereo shop. about 15bucks or so. it will say what wire is what on the wire and then use the installation from your new HU and wire it up. no need to cut the stock wires.. Never cut stock if you dont have to.

 

yeh thanks guys, I found that best buy has an adapter for 85-95 honda's. I'm going to try today.

 

actually got it at walmart for 6 bucks!!!! best buy wanted $25, lol!
