vtec is not engaging right ???
so wait... your vtec isn't loud enough?
get real plug wires, and do an oil/filter change. then look at the screen behind the vtec solonoid to make sure that no sound is being trapped by the screen.
that should make the vtec louder. If all else fails, remove the exhaust.

its not as loud as other b16's ive rode in and it doesnt feel like it is engaging as hard as it should be. its a very smooth transaction. but as i said im not losing power on top end
vtec is supposed to be a smooth transition, it means you're taking good advantage of all the power the non vtec lobes have to offer.
if you want vtec to "hit really hard" up it's engagement to 6 grand
