Default Questioning about lowering

I'm about to lower my 95 civic and I was wondering how hard is it to do? I got my struts and lowering springs in today. I was going to get a buddy to do them at his house but i'm interested in doing this myself, i've never done this before! How hard would this be for a first timer and what do I have to do? I appreciate the help!!!

It is pretty easy and you will make things alot easier if you look into a camber kit. Depending on how low you want to go. You are going to need a spring compressor, two jack stands, a floor jack, a manual, a tool set, and a good portaion of a day. I'm pretty sure there is a write up in the HT archives on how to do it on a 96-00 Civic which will come close. I did mine last summer and with one write up and about 4 hours, including smoke breaks, confusion breaks, and beer breaks I did all four with the help of a friend. Oh yeah, and an impact wrench will make your day so either rent one or know someone who has one, just in case.

spring compressors, a decent socket set, a jack, jackstands if you got em, plenty of light, and your done.

Also need a nice ball hammer to beat those lower ball joints loose. It's not too bad.
