Did you guys every change your rear lights? Sometimes the gasket leaks water and it gets into your trunk.

From what I've seen, when water leaks into the trunk, about 60 percent of the time it's caused by a leak in the taillight assembly (cracked lens, or the rubber seal, etc), about 20 percent of the time it's caused by a leak in the sunroof or hatch lid, and the other 20 percent of the time it's something else.

The water usually collects in the spare tire well. If you haven't checked around there recently, the leak may have been going on for quite a while.
