ek b18 swap questions

Default ek b18 swap questions

ok...i have a 98 civic ex.
im puttin a b18 ls in it with gsr trans.
im having problems so i was hoping someone could answer my questions.

i was wondering if i could use my d16 power steering pump and alternator on my 2000 b18? if so what brackets off of which cars/motor do i need in order for power steering pump and alternator to fit propertly in the car with the b18? thanks all the info/ advice will be helpful.

hmm, if the harness and motor are obd2 then yes it should plug in. But you may need to extend the bracket on the alternator. Im not really sure on the power steering. your best bet is to get the swap in and start test fitting everything.

yes motor and harness are OBD2. see i dont have any brackets for alternator or p/s pump. im tryin to figure out if i need to get differnet brackets that will fit on the b18 and the alternator and p/s pump. do i just use b18 brackets for my D16 alternator and p/s pump?
