Jus finishished my B16a swap in my 91 ef hatch. And 91 integra front brake swap including steering knuckles, axles, and intermediate shaft. So after finishing all that went for first drive and while turning either way I get a severe kicking/ vibration. So I was have been checkin everything and all bolts are tight and when car is running in the air the problem isn't there its only when there's weight on everything. Please help I'm seriously out of ideas!!!!!!!!

Yeah I visually checked all of those. And did simple tests to check if they were bad.

Well I thought of that and the right Cv shaft is brand new. And the left one seems good neither axles are out of round.

Are the axles too long? Is the rex lowered?

Yeah the civic is lowered. And no the axles are correct they're 91 integra axles and intermediate shaft the ones everyone says to use with B16 swaps

The tires aren't rubbing on anything, are they? Do you still have your traction rods attatched?

Yes the factory cross member and traction rods are still connected I know with no weight on the suspension I'm not running anywhere with steering lock to lock. But I never thought to check if I was rubbing on the traction bars

It sounds to me it's a problem with the suspension. When you raise and jack up the car, load the jack stands under the lower control arm, and not the chassis. That way the weight of the car is still compressing the suspension.

sounds like a problem i had, I replaced my old axles with new autozone axles and with the new axles my car would shake under load. I return the axles and got some napa axles and the problem was gone. I dont understand why the autozone axles made my car do that but thats what happend to me.

Thankz but if it were the axles it would most likely also be shuttering going straight also not ONLY UNDER TURNING. And the axles would have effects whether there was a load or not.

Well in my case it only happend under heavy load. I was going crazy trying to figure out why it was doing that under heavy load and not when i let the car coast or granny drive it. I replaced some bushings and motor mounts thinking that might be it but it didnt help. It never did that before the autozone axles so thats what maid me return them.

It sounds to me like you have some negative camber and the flat spot is on a part of the tire that only really engages under hard turning. Look for a patch of "less than average" tread. This happened to me after a track day.

Uhhh ok its been some time and I'm still having this severe issue that needs 2 be resolved... I got another right cv shaft its still shuttering. I have a stripped out lower ball joint on the right knuckle. I'm getting that fixed soon. There aren't any flat spots or running I'm still just getting SEVERE shutter when I turn the car under throttle.

how low is your car? perhaps the axles are binding when turning? have you tried removing the dust shields from your hubs to see if it helps?

your alignment is way off by installing the da knuckles your toe is really off that is why you car vibrates and has bump steer, align the car and all your problems should diminish and your tires won't be destroyed in 500 miles either

Does it pull any when you are going straight and lift the throttle?

Here are some things to try:

__ Check the front radius rod bushings. The front bolts get loose sometimes, and the bushings get worn.

__ Check your inner tie rods by taking the outer joints off the knuckle and jiggling them. If they have rattling play or fall completely limp with no resistance, they need to be replaced.

__ Put your hands on each tire (all of them) at 3-o'clock and 9-o'clock and try to wiggle them. If there is any play in your wheel bearings they will rattle back and forth and need to be replaced.

__ Jack the car up and put it on stands. Then use the jack to carefully raise one wheel, while looking at the lower control arm bushings for signs of cracks, binding, and weird deflection.

the car is not to low, it has about 1 inch till it is tucking. we did raise it up cause when we did the b16 swap the car did drop lower so we raised it up.

we are going to replace the lower ball joint today. also it only does it on one side and it wont shutter turning unless were giving it throttle.

does it shutter at a certain speed only or all the time???
it could be one of your axles. inside the black boot cover theres a bunch of grease... maybe the boot rippped and ur axle is starting to get dry. i had this problem before.

its an axle problem of some kind. sounds like a tight outer cv joint. almost all of those replacement axles do that. are you using the civic hubs? remove the dust seals?
