Looking for Dump tube pics
So I've been riding my car with open wastegate. It's killing me, my engine looks dirty as hell and I'm pretty tired of it. Just got a manifold and new wastegate with the v-band design, so I am hoping I can turn the wastegate due to space issues. Also looking for maybe a few links that have different dump tube w/ v-band.
Car: 88 crx si'
Engine: LS/Vtec
Manifold: Ram type with straight pipe for the wastegate (its pointing straight to the front of the car, no bend)
Wastegate: TiAl v44 (44mm)
Just trying to get some ideas for a clean install.
Thanks

it was an old moroso that my friend stripped out, and that pan that was being put there was for NHRA rules circa 06. that pic is 3 years old. he hee.
that pan isnt much better than my "new" moroso steel pan. they are junk. leaks, and when i went to put a jack stand under it when i had the tranny out i think i cracked one of the welds.

OP, post a pic of your engine bay.
Mine is somewhat like mikey's but it stops at the oil pan, I figured the air under the car would take care of the rest, and I was in a big hurry to get it done. It runs between the DP and the block, pretty simple.

I think what he meant to say is it'll probably hurt your performance but I couldn't really say how much...
To the op I've heard it's best to run your dump under your oil pan so your motor doesn't breath in exhaust fumes. I've seen dynos with pipes running open vs underneath the pan and it does make a difference if done right
