K20Z3 into 93 ej1
i am looking at a few options for my 93 ej1
i know k20z3's are very expensive but i might be able to get all the parts(motor, tranny, alternator etc) for about $4,000. i can get a deal
how hard is this swap into my 93 coupe?
how much would i need to change or would it just be motor mounts?

its a pretty big swap. i dont know all the specifics, but i know you need more than just the motor mounts. considering this is my dream swap i should probably look more into the details myself but i know hasport makes the mounts. and i do beleive one of the mounts requires the removeal of the old one for the new one to be welded in. idk if thats just for the j series v6 swap though.

It's harder to use than the K20A/K20A2/K20Z1. The transmission has an issue with the VSS; there is a fix, but it's a complicated process which involves drilling into your transmission. You'll need the K-Pro to get around the immobilizer, and use a K20A2 engine harness, with modifications. There are a few differences; check out K20A.org to get the full scoop. The bottom line is, unless it's cheap (I don't consider a $4,000 K20Z3 swap cheap), don't bother. Most of the Civic Si stuff has to be replaced with RSX stuff to make it work.
