Its an EX, so the vtec wiring is already done. This leaves you with the knock sensor (doesn't need to be done if using a chipped P28) and the IAB wiring (doesn't need to be done if using an aftermarket intake manifold and/or chipped P28 or P30) The only other thing you need to do is lengthen the wiring for certain connectors. Pinouts are shown below courtesy of Katman @ ff-squad & Honda-Tech.

Then you will need to run the knock sensor wiring (or have the ECU chipped and have your tuner disable it in the ECU) and you will have to wire in the IABs if you want them to function (note that its not mandatory to have them wired in, you just have to make sure they stay open at all times. If you do want them to funtion and you don't live in a strictly enforced emissions state you can simply plug the purge solenoid connector into the IAB solenoid and move pin A20 to A17 at the ECU.)

Correct.

Use a '96 - '99 Integra GS-R or ITR engine harness, it plugs in at both the OBD1 civic shock tower plugs and it plugs into the OBD2 injectors, alternator and distributor 100% direct plug and play! Alternatively use a '96 - '99 LS harness and add the vtec wiring to it.

sweet so all i need is a obd2 gsr wiring harness and it will plug right up to the chassis harness thats obd1? so if i get that do i still gotta run the knock sensor wire? also what ecu would you recommend p72? im wanting this swap to be as easy and simple as possible i got a LS motor in there right now it has the vin number plate on the motor so that makes it obd2 right? if so i can jus use my harness and add vtec and the vtec plug in is jus laying there from the z6 motor that was in it stock.

Correct. Just make sure you use a '96 - '99 harness, if you use an '00 - '01 harness it will plug in and work fine, but it requires you to run a wire for the tach signal.

If using a stock P72 then yes.

If you are using a Skunk2 intake and don't want to run the knock sensor wiring and its a B20vtec then you would be better off using a P28 and having it chipped and tuned.
