Default Aftermarket intake manifold ? on OBD2B 2001 GSR

How can I change the ECU tuning in my 2001 GSR for the Blox intake manifold? I was going to run a chipped P28 with and OBD2-OBD1 jumper harness, but I have been told my car wont start because it has an immobilizer in the ECU...please help I need some advise on this I'm stuck

You'll be fine if you run a chipped p28 w/ an obd2B-1 harness.... the immobilizer is only in the stock ecu. Once you cover to obd1 and run the ecu, it eliminates the immobilizer function. Just make sure once you get the single stage intake manifold and the chipped ecu, you go and get your car tuned.
